Kansas State University has a network of weather stations located around the state called Kansas Mesonet which provides high quality, real-time and historical data. The photo above is the mesonet weather station located outside of Gypsum, Kansas. Data collected include Precipitation, Wind Speed and Direction, Solar Radiation, Temperature, Humidity, Inversions, Soil Temperature, Soil Moisture, and Barometric Pressure.
